I run Clear Cookie Technologies on my own here in Birmingham. I build websites, do branding, and sort out the everyday tech that small businesses and individuals rely on.
When I finish a job, you should be able to run it without me.
I've spent about fifteen years working with customers, though not fifteen years as Clear Cookie. I've worked behind a counter, sold office furniture, sold software, and done software development and project management inside a company. Most of that time I was watching how businesses actually run from day to day.
So I tell you what to expect up front, explain things plainly, and leave out anything you don't need. The first thing I'll ask is what's broken, not which platform you want. In a small business, most tech problems turn out not to be tech problems.

How long does a website take?
Most sites take three to four weeks from the first call, depending on how much content you already have.
Can I update it myself afterwards?
Yes. I set things up so you can make everyday changes without calling me, and I show you how.
Do you only work with businesses?
No. I help individuals too: a personal site, a tidier email setup, or a computer that has stopped behaving.
What does it cost?
I quote a fixed price before any work starts, so there are no surprises at the end.
